First of all, we are each an intellectual individual who chose Information System Faculty at UIB. Step by step each of us met and began to develop a strong friendship till how we are now.
After that, we had began to have one goal that was to form a team which develop system together. At that time, we started to search a name for the team, a name appeared before us, "SIMBE". This name came from a spelling in Indonesian language about the class we were in, "4 SIM B" (in Indonesian language, Sistem Informasi Malam Kelas B which means Information System Night Shift Class B).
After that we were eager to have our team's ideal that is suitable and in the end we used "System Information Management Business and Education" which means SIMBE Team manage the information system in business and education area. Besides that we have a slogan: "Simply Believe Us" that is derived from "SIMBE".
About the logo, we'd like to thank to Mr. Candy who had designed our SIMBE's logo, total 3 of them. We chose the 2nd concept of his design as our official logo.
SIMBE.NetBETA official website was launched on 10th September 2008.
